Revalidation of Boeing 737 TRI
Revalidation of TRI Boeing 737 is required by FCL.940.TRI(a)(1). To revalidate a TRI certificate on Boeing 737, you shall, within the 12 months immediately preceding the expiry date of the TRI certificate fulfil at least two out of the three following requirements:
- conduct one of the following parts of a complete type rating or recurrent training course in TRI Boeing 737:
- simulator session of at least 3 hours or
- one air exercise of at least 1 hour comprising a minimum of two take-offs and landings;
- complete instructor refresher training as a TRI at an ATO;
- pass the assessment of competence in accordance with point FCL.935 with TRE B737. Applicants who have complied with point FCL.910.TRI(b)(3) shall be deemed to comply with this requirement.
For at least each alternate revalidation of a TRI certificate, holders shall pass the TRI assessment of competence in accordance with point FCL.935. If you are a holder of TRI with multiple type privileges - e.g. Boeing 737, Bombardier CRJ and Cessna 525, you can use the benefit of FCL.940(a)(4) and revalidate all your TRI privileges at the same time.
If TRI hold a certificate for more than one type of aeroplane, the TRI assessment of competence taken on one of those types of aircraft shall revalidate the TRI certificate for the other types, unless it is otherwise determined in the OSD.
Renewal ✅ TRI Boeing 737
To renew the validity of TRI Boeing 737 and bring back the privileges it is necessary to meet the requirements of FCL.940.TRI(b)(1). To renew a TRI B737 certificate, applicants shall, within the 12 months immediately preceding the date of the application shall have completed the following:
- at least 30 route sectors, including take-offs and landings on the Boeing 737 variant, of which maximum 15 sectors may be completed in an FFS;
- instructor refresher training as a TRI at an ATO which shall cover the relevant elements of the TRI training course;
- have passed the TRI assessment of competence in accordance with point FCL.935 with TRE Boeing 737.
If you are a holder of TRI with multiple type privileges - e.g. Boeing 737, Bombardier CRJ and Cessna 525, you can use the benefit of FCL.940(b)(3) and renew all your TRI privileges at the same time.
If applicants held a TRI certificate for more than one type of aeroplane, the assessment of competence taken on one of those types of aircraft shall renew the TRI certificate for the other types held within the same category of aircraft, unless it is otherwise determined in the OSD.
