What is ATPL skill test?

ATPL(A) skill test

The ATPL(A) skill test is a checkride in simulator performed by an EASA TRE - type rating examiner authorized for specific type of multi-pilot aircraft. The ATPL(A) skill test has to be attended by an EASA CPL(A) holder to obtain "higher" - ATPL(A) license. Checkride is also for the ICAO or so-called third-country license holder aiming to get a full EASA ATPL(A) license based on their third-country issued ATPL(A).
